Bone Marrow Biopsy (BmBx) scheduled for November 9th. I can’t even count the number of BmBx’s I’ve had. Some with just the suction, some with the drill. It’s not pleasant but I’ve gotten used to it. I never get more than local sedation, lest I’m loopy the rest of the day. Twice this spring/summer I had to fly down to LA, get a BmBx and fly back the same day. No fun.

Anyway, I’m sure (and my doc agrees) that it’ll be clean. I can feel when I have leukemia — I don’t. Still it’s part of the process to get one around Day 70.

Once the results are in, we’ll probably start on the Zifto maintenance. TTBOMK, I’m the only person in the history of UCSF to get Zifto as part of post stem-cell transplant treatment. And apparently, my doctor had to jump through hoops — and open the equivalent of a clinical trial just for me — to get this treatment here (as opposed to my having to go down to UCLA to get the Zifto). Thanks, Jerry!

Anyway, here’s the Day +60 chart. I moved Platelets over to the right access and added info about “normal ranges.”

Anyway, that’s it for now. I haven’t got nearly enough steps in today. How am I gonna get ‘em? Trader Joe’s time. Shopping is still really draining but gonna try. Hoping to go to the SR football game this Friday so I’m working my way up to that.

A buddy has a JRAD ticket for me (thanks, Tripper) that night, but I think that’s too much for me right now. SRHS is only a couple miles from home, so I can bail pretty quickly/easily on football if I need to. Plus, Varsity game will be over when JRAD is playing their 3rd song. I’ll be in bed by set break.
